AmUp gives you control over your information:
- Private accounts: set your account to private so only approved followers can see your posts
- Location sharing: choose whether to share your location and control who can see it
- Block users: block anyone from seeing your content or contacting you
- Delete account: permanently delete your account and associated data from the app settings
- Data access & export: contact us to request a copy of your data
5. Data Security
We protect your data using industry-standard measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encrypted authentication tokens, and access controls. However, no internet service is completely secure. We encourage you to use a strong password and to contact us immediately if you suspect any unauthorised access.
6. Data Retention
We retain your data as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your personal profile data within 30 days. Some data may be retained for longer periods where required by law (for example, financial records).
7. Children's Privacy
AmUp is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately.
